Staden ligger p\u00e5 v\u00e4stkusten, med n\u00e4rhet till s\u00e5v\u00e4l Norge som Danmark, och har en stark bakgrund som industristad s\u00e5v\u00e4l som hamnstad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>G\u00f6teborg grundades tidigt 1600-tal vid kanten av G\u00f6ta \u00e4lv och kom att bli en viktig hamnstad s\u00e4rskilt under slutet av 1700-talet och b\u00f6rjan av 1800-talet innan industrin tog \u00f6ver. I linje med detta har staden som m\u00e5l att s\u00e4nka koldioxidutsl\u00e4ppen med 80% mellan 2010 och 2030 genom att minska bilanv\u00e4ndningen i staden till f\u00f6rm\u00e5n f\u00f6r andra trafikslag. G\u00f6teborg Stads aktuella policys och planeringsst\u00f6d&nbsp; f\u00f6r trafik- och stadsplanering prioriterar g\u00e5ng, cykel, samt kollektivtrafik. Ett konkret m\u00e5l i G\u00f6teborgs trafikstrategi \u00e4r att 85% av inv\u00e5narna ska tycka att g\u00e5ng \u00e4r det mest attraktiva s\u00e4ttet att ta sig fram i staden \u00e5r 2035 (City of Gothenburg 2014; 2019; 2020).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Staden har vidare som m\u00e5l att 35% av alla resor ska ske till fots \u00e5r 2035 (idag \u00e4r det ca 28% i likhet med de senaste 10 \u00e5ren). I genomsnitt tycker 78% av G\u00f6teborgarna att deras stad \u00e4r fotg\u00e4ngarv\u00e4nlig, varav 73 % i trakten av S\u00f6dra Kortedala (\u00d6stra G\u00f6teborg) och 79% omkring Kungsladug\u00e5rd (Majorna-Linn\u00e9). Nyare statistik fr\u00e5n G\u00f6teborgs stad visar dock att bara 48% av G\u00f6teborgarna har g\u00e5tt mer under pandemin \u00e4n vad de gjorde innan. 10% har g\u00e5tt mindre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Beskrivning av utvalda prim\u00e4romr\u00e5den och m\u00e5lgrupper<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I G\u00f6teborg har <strong>Kungsladug\u00e5rd <\/strong>och <strong>S\u00f6dra Kortedala<\/strong> valts som studieomr\u00e5den. Dessa omr\u00e5den valdes ut i samarbete med lokala intressenter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Projektet fokuserar p\u00e5 att unders\u00f6ka hur \u201dg\u00e5ngv\u00e4nliga\u201d de urbana milj\u00f6erna i v\u00e5ra utvalda st\u00e4der \u00e4r, och f\u00f6r att unders\u00f6ka detta kommer vi att involvera individer \u00f6ver 18 \u00e5r fr\u00e5n den generella populationen, samt skolbarn i \u00e5ldrarna 8-12 \u00e5r i v\u00e5r forskning, f\u00f6r att f\u00e5 kunskap kring hur olika m\u00e4nniskor och grupper av m\u00e4nniskor upplever sin g\u00e5ngmilj\u00f6, vilka behov som finns, och hur attraktivt det \u00e4r att promenera i dessa n\u00e4romr\u00e5den utifr\u00e5n olika aspekter. Vi har valt ut tre lokala m\u00e5lgrupper, ut\u00f6ver skolbarn \u00e4r dessa individer med synneds\u00e4ttning samt individer som pendlar (till skola eller arbete).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En mer detaljerad beskrivning av delprojektet i G\u00f6teborg finner ni h\u00e4r:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-file\"><a id=\"wp-block-file--media-ffa7c745-a1f6-43d6-a4ad-d54dd07e6849\" href=\"https:\/\/walkurban.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/studyarea_Gothenburg_june2022_se.pdf\">G\u00f6teborg_june2022_se<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/walkurban.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/studyarea_Gothenburg_june2022_se.pdf\" class=\"wp-block-file__button wp-element-button\" download aria-describedby=\"wp-block-file--media-ffa7c745-a1f6-43d6-a4ad-d54dd07e6849\">Ladda ner<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">WalkUrban anv\u00e4nder flera metoder i v\u00e5r forskning om g\u00e5ngbarhet (fotg\u00e4ngarv\u00e4nlighet)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I de utvalda omr\u00e5dena anv\u00e4nds flera metoder f\u00f6r att studera urban g\u00e5ngbarhet. WalkUrban-projektet genomf\u00f6r olika analyser och unders\u00f6kningar<em>:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>I v\u00e5rt f\u00f6rsta steg g\u00f6r vi en <strong>tillg\u00e4nglighets- och g\u00e5ngbarhetsanalys<\/strong> av den urbana milj\u00f6n <strong>med hj\u00e4lp av GIS<\/strong>. Utifr\u00e5n ett rutn\u00e4t och ett detaljerat g\u00e5ngv\u00e4gsn\u00e4t kan vi analysera g\u00e5ngavst\u00e5nd till olika platser, som exempelvis buss- och t\u00e5gh\u00e5llplatser, skolor, butiker, parker och gr\u00f6nomr\u00e5den.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>V\u00e5r andra metod \u00e4r att samla in data genom en <strong>hush\u00e5llsenk\u00e4t<\/strong>. Detta g\u00f6r att vi kan f\u00e5 b\u00e4ttre insikt i inv\u00e5narnas g\u00e5ngbeteenden och attityder till att promenera, samt den upplevda g\u00e5ngbarheten i olika stadsdelar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I v\u00e5r tredje metod uppmanas medborgarna att sj\u00e4lv bed\u00f6ma n\u00e5gra av sina egna vanliga g\u00e5ngstr\u00e5k via en mobilapp (<strong>Citizen Science Walking Route Assessments<\/strong>). Appen l\u00e5ter dem bed\u00f6ma en egenvald rutt i n\u00e4romr\u00e5det, ta bilder av positiva eller negativa aspekter och svara p\u00e5 fr\u00e5gor om hur man upplever det att g\u00e5 i det specifika omr\u00e5det.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>V\u00e5rt fj\u00e4rde tillv\u00e4gag\u00e5ngss\u00e4tt syftar till att samla i mer djupg\u00e5ende information kring upplevelser av att g\u00e5, genom s\u00e5 kallade <strong>walk-along-intervjuer<\/strong> d\u00e4r forskare samtalar med individer under en promenad i n\u00e4romr\u00e5det. Deltagare (fr\u00e5n v\u00e5ra utvalda m\u00e5lgrupper) och forskarna g\u00e5r tillsammans i stadsdelen och deltagarna \u00e4r fria att prata om sin promenadupplevelse och peka ut saker de gillar och ogillar.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong><strong>P\u00e5g\u00e5ende aktiviteter i G\u00f6teborg<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enk\u00e4tutskick till hush\u00e5ll i m\u00e5lomr\u00e5dena<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>G\u00e5ngruttsutv\u00e4rderingar (Walking route assessments)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Walk-along intervjuer i v\u00e5ra m\u00e5lomr\u00e5den<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>WalkUrbans \u00e5rsm\u00f6te i G\u00f6teborg i oktober<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>WalkUrban teamet: utveckling av konceptuellt ramverk och de kvalitativa och kvantitativa metoder som anv\u00e4nds f\u00f6r datainsamling, pilotstudier i Genua.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I G\u00f6teborg: val av prim\u00e4romr\u00e5den och m\u00e5lgrupper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Gothenburg<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Gothenburg is Sweden\u2019s second largest city in terms of population and size with just over 600,000 inhabitants. It lies on the west coast of Sweden, close to both Norway and Denmark. It has a strong history as an industrial maritime city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was founded in the early 1600s on the southern shore of the G\u00f6ta river. It quickly became an important port and trading town, and particularly thrived in the late 1700s and early 1800s before becoming increasingly industrial in the 1800s. Today it is largely a post-industrial city however significant manufacturers, such as Volvo, are still based here<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Walking in Gothenburg <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gothenburg has expressed a vision of becoming a green, sustainable, attractive and coherent city, with a reduction in CO<sub>2<\/sub>-emissions by 80% in 2030 (compared to 2010) through reducing car use and increasing the use of other modes. Current planning and policy documents prioritize walking, bicycling and public transport in transport planning as well as in urban planning activities. In terms of walkability, 78% of Gothenburgers think that their neighbourhood&nbsp; is walkable. In terms of the specific areas we will focus on, 73% of people in the area around S\u00f6dra Kortedala (\u00d6stra G\u00f6teborg) and 79% in the area around Kungsladug\u00e5rd (Majorna-Linn\u00e9). However, statistics from the city collected recently showed that just under half of people, around 48%, had walked more in their neighbourhood under the pandemic. Only a small fraction, around 10%, had walked less.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Description of selected neighbourhoods and target groups<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For the city of Gothenburg, the two residential areas Kungsladug\u00e5rd and S\u00f6dra Kortedala were selected for our case studies. The selection was made in close collaboration with local stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the project focused on walkability for residents of the included cities, individuals over 18 years of age from the general population, and younger schoolchildren (aged 8-12) have been involved in our research which focuses on experiences of the walking environment in the two selected neighbourhoods.
