The involvement of local stakeholders is an important part of the WalkUrban project and their involvement is continuous throughout the process. These stakeholders could be a municipality, an association or interest group, or a school. Recommendations given by the Municipality of Genoa at the first project meeting were implemented by each project group individually in the three case study cities, Genoa, Gothenburg and Dortmund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
